We found Dinner at the nearby Hotel Andechserhof to be excellent.

Too many stairs to get to the room. No fridge or hairdryer in the room.

nice and comfy. very good and amazing location, fresh breakfast (homemade jam, butter), fresh fruit and bread. dog friendly! :) very nice place to stay.
