Dellville Country House & Cottages

Disappointing stay from start to finish. While the venue looks phenomenal in photos, the approach takes you through a rural township with shacks just two minutes away, which felt unsettling and not particularly safe. Arrival was chaotic — no answer on the main number, I had to track down a second one, then waited over ten minutes at the gate while staff seemed genuinely surprised I was checking in (despite arriving three hours after the 2pm check-in time). The room was dark on entry, with no coffee provided — we were told to ask if we wanted some, same with the Wi-Fi, which had apparently been faulty for two days with no fix in sight. Maintenance was poor: the bedside lamp collapsed in the middle of the night, and the toilet roll holder was falling off the wall. On departure, despite arranging a 6am exit and being told the gate would be open from 5:30, it wasn’t — I had to run back to the room for the remote and race out before it closed. Throughout, I felt like a burden rather than a guest. Wouldn’t return.

We liked the quietness of the farm. Beautiful sunset. The room was spacious with well equipped kitchen and plenty of space for one's luggage.

Santie is a very friendly hostess, also super clean.

The place was beautifully decorated and had nice furniture.

The loud music that played in the afternoon wasn't nice. We were on a farm, and we wanted to hear and experience nature. The place was mostly clean, but there was a huge spiderweb above the one-bedroom door.
