La Casaccia Guelfi

Posto incantevole situato a 5 minuti a piedi da un piccolissimo borgo, in cui c'è solo un bar e un ristorante. Nonostante ciò è stato il luogo perfetto per passare un weekend di relax con i miei amici. Appartamento dotato di tutti i comfort, letti comodi, piscina stupenda con una vista che non dimenticherò mai. La sera siamo stati a bordo piscina a guardare le stelle ed è stato magico. Insomma, super consigliato!

Un po' di polvere presente sui mobili ma niente di esagerato.

The calm and beauty of the surroundings and the view are exceptional. The flat was simple but comfortable, and the bed was big and the rooms spacious. The stone floors are ideal when it's hit outside. The very beautiful hamlet of San. Gusmè is a 5 minutes walk downhill and there is an exceptionally nice restaurant there, with good prices. We also liked the ol big fenced park where our dog could run freely.

Nothing, except maybe there was a bit too little equipment in the kitchen (for instance wrapping foil). But it was ok for 2 people!

The location has the best view on the valley. Close to Siena and easily accessible by car.

Wunderschöne Landschaft, weiter Blick ins Tal bis zu den Bergen der Crete senesi. Lage ideal für Wanderungen oder Radtouren, Ausflüge ins Chianti oder nach Siena. Sehr ruhig Garten mit Wiese zum Sonnen, oder für Kinder zum Spielen. Großer Pool (nicht geheizt, daher zur Zeit unserer Reise Mitte Oktober schon recht frisch). Appartement schlicht, geschmackvoll, zu dem alten toskanischen Landhaus passend möbliert. Sehr nette, unkomplizierte Vermieterin

Die Küchenausstattung hätte etwas umfangreicher sein können (Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle wären hilfreich) In fußläufiger Entfernung eine (gute) Osteria, für weitere Restaurants oder Einkäufe muß man ein paar Kilometer fahren.

Relaxed and friendly

Location and rustically character of the place. It is a really beautiful farm, perfect location for discovering Tuscany and Chianti region. A number of super restaurants in surrounding villages is truly surprising. Swimming pool with amazing view and possibility to buy olive oil from the farm are priceless. As the farm stands alone, there is no light pollution and it is really good spot for stars admiring. We were amazed by night spectacle of fireflies around the farm - magical experience.

There is no AC and this is perfectly OK, however I would suggest to install mosquito nets in all windows. With opened windows at night we had a lot of insects going inside the accommodation and peaceful sleeping was not always possible.

Everything was as we expected. Laura was a wonderful host. She was always helpful and easy to communicate. Her advices for the tour were excellent. Perfect location generally for Tuscany specially for the Eroica fans or participants (as we did) very close to Berardenga and also to Gaiole which is very useful.

Nothing we didn't like.

We loved everything by staying in this beautiful place.

WiFi was not so good, but it's not a big problem if don't need to work online. It's better to enjoy the area and stay offline a little bit.

Beautiful rooms, very authentic looking. Enough room for everybody. Nice pool and garden.
