Casa de la ferma Mariuca

Wow what an amazing experience!! Mariana and Vasil are the most wonderful hosts ever. We got to pet Mimi the sheep, milk their cow, forage mushrooms with Mariana and, of course, eat the most amazing traditional cooking in the world. Was only 38 minutes to the merriest cemetery and 20 minutes to the Ukraine border. The room was so comfortable. We cant wait to return!

Accueil chaleureux. Les gens, l’endroit, la nourriture, la tranquillité. Tout était parfait ! N’hésitez pas, c’est un vrai 10/10. Merci Mariana !

We were warmly welcomed by the owners and immediately treated to a heartfelt reception with horincă and local specialties. The farm is located in a stunning setting and reflects the traditions of rural life, with Mariana’s traditional cooking being the tasteful reflection of it. It was also touching to see how multiple generations live together on the farm with such love and harmony. The presence of Teddy (lovely dog) and Jerry/Mini (lovely cats) made it easier to accept the long distance to our own pets.

We all took some weight because we could not stop eating :).

What a joy to have spent a few days at the farm! Everything was exceptional: Mariana's kindness and generosity, the peaceful countryside, the meals, .... By far my best experience of 3 weeks in Romania <3 Can't wait to come back;
