Really nice accommodation! I was upgraded to a large apartment from a single room and had a kitchen as well as a second bedroom. The breakfast every morning was really delicious and the break was homemade.

There wasn’t too much around in terms of location. It was perfect for me as it was close to where I was working.

Nothing I can remember

nice, clean, spacious. Off the tourist track. Lovely home made specialities. A perfect place for open minded people who appreciate borrowing a bicycle, lovely food from the garden and can deal with not having an air condition. Fantastic breakfast. Walking distance to the lake.

Very nice accommodation, spotless clean and a very friendly host. Had a good recommendation for dinner and a really lovely and good arranged breakfast with homemade and home grown or locally produced products. You could really taste the love that’s put in to it. Even everything was arranged for our son (3,5 yrs) without even asking. Really a recommendation for future stay. We will go back here most certainly next holiday!

The hosts were wonderful! Very kind and helpful. Our train was late, and they were very understanding about the late check-in. The breakfast was good and the location is walking distance from the lake which is fantastic! Also, the room was clean and tidy. WIFI was strong and stable.

I don't know if that's the situation in all rooms, but our room had a shared bathroom with another room, and the lock is problematic, which added unnecessary stress to a very tranquil vacation. The price is also relatively high for a room with a shared bathroom.

Good central location in Varese. Parking on premises is very convenient. Breakfast is nice. The service of the host is great.

Just minor, not a real minus: a fan (or airconditioning) in the bedrooms would make a difference in summer. A comfortable seat in living room would be nice instead of a wooden rocking chair.

The location was very good for the lake as it was a short walk down to the shore line. There was free parking at the lake, with at least 2 restaurants available - one with swimming pools was excellent value for money and customer service, the other was more expensive and also very nice with a more refined menu and service. We preferred the former. The room was cleaned beautifully each day although when we returned in the evening the windows were open and we had mosquitoes in the room. The bed was very firm but comfortable and the breakfast was good - fruit, toast, honey, granola, yoghurt etc. We were made to feel welcome. Nice shower and bathroom. The lake and area was so beautiful - and no crowds!

We were surprised to find we had to share a bathroom with one other guest room. I expect i should have read the description in more detail but for the price i expected an en-suite. You had to go through the breakfast room to get to the bedroom which was off a corridor beyond. and all the doors were sliding not hinged. Also the sliding doors had no handles which meant you had to use your palms to grip the door to open it and they were hard to open quietly. This meant that if your neighbour left the door to the breakfast room open you were faced with guests eating breakfast when you opened your bedroom door. The room layout (bed position) was close to the door so if you and your neighbour opened the sliding doors you would see straight through into you neighbours bedroom (and vice versa) which made it feel not very private. As it turned out we enjoyed our stay and our niggles might not be a problem for another visitor - i certainly would NOT let it put you off staying.

The breakfast was incredible! Among others, the host offered great coffee, self-baked cakes, and self-made jams. The breakfast was a highlight of the stay. The house is very quiet and has a calming vibe.
