The apartment was well furnished and very clean. It was close to the airport which was very helpful with 2 kids in tow and no long transfers to endure. Carla was the ‘hostess with the mostest’ for sure and made us feel so welcome. She waited up late to let us check in after a flight delay and was so helpful throughout the week, giving us tips on good places to visit and to eat in. She was also on hand to borrow items from eg when we used the BBQ and didn’t have the utensils.

It’s hard to identify something we didn’t like but maybe as a suggestion for being even better, I would say that it would be helpful if there were some basic items in situ such as salt and pepper and tea/coffee. Maybe also a bottle of water and a loaf of bread or something for arrival. As our flight was an evening one we didn’t have time to go to a shop to get anything and again, with kids in tow, that was tricky.

We loved our stay! Carla is such a friendly and caring host and the facilities are very nice. We liked the privacy of being almost the only guests there (unlike at a big hotel in the center of the city). Don't forget to visit the fantastic little café/mini supermarket "Sabores ao Cubo" right around the corner as well.

The pool didn't seem clean and it wasn't cleaned in the four days we were staying there, and we booked our stay because of the pool facility, so that was disappointing... Also the area is a little deserted and it was a little creepy walking home from the metro station on the days where we went to Porto and came home after dark (we were two young women traveling together). Apart from those two points, we only have good things to say about Rural House, and we can highly recommend staying her:)

The Location was lovely, lovely modern apartments which were spotlessly clean. Would recommend to anyone.

Size of the TV is a little small.

The rooms and location is perfect

Sorry to say it was freezing. The heating would come on for maybe 10 minutes then switch off. It was never on enough to heat up a room.

Self contained and really friendly host. Rooms were fabulous.
