Alcantara Natura Country House

A massive thank you to Toni and Rosa for an incredible stay. The homemade cooking, hospitality and location was outstanding. I would certainly recommend Alcantra Natura🌹

We really enjoyed our stay at Alcantara country house. It's a characterful property with lovely views from the pool terrace. We toured the area during the day and returned for the evening meal. Tino is an excellent host, and his wife, Rosealba, is an excellent cook! They both made our stay comfortable and responded to every request! Having food available on site was the highlight of our stay. We sometimes ate in the kitchen dining area, and it felt homely as if staying in the owners house. They also have a beautiful outside dining area for warmer months. We highly recommend staying here.

The mattress was not so comfortable. The drive to the property is a bit challenging, so a smaller car is recommended!

Die Zufahrt ist wirklich nicht einfach, aber es lohnt sich.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und sorgen für einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Perfekt gelegen um die Gegend der Alcantara Schlucht aber auch Taormina zu erkunden. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Aussicht von unserem Balkon. Das Abendessen ist großartig und nicht teuer. Wir konnten richtig runterkommen und entspannen.

Leider hört man durch die baulichen Gegebenheiten immer wieder die Nachbarn der anderen Zimmer. Wer nicht so geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte dies nicht stören. Die Anfahrt ist abenteuerlich, aber wer einen kleinen Mietwagen fährt und ein guter Autofahrer ist, hat keine Probleme.

Unbelievable place in the hill with top view, great swimming pool and nice food.

Unclear dinner charging as I got promise by the owner to get food for baby free of charge as well as bottle of wine was supposed to be in the dinner's price, what was not the case by the check out bill. As he was not there (only his wife), we did not argue, but we were negatively surprised.

Fijne ontvangst, gastvrijheid eigenaren. Behulpzaam met tips voor activiteiten. Maar ook het fijne ontbijt en de mogelijkheid in avond daar te eten, heerlijke gerechten in gezellige omgeving.

The location is peaceful, at the top of the hill, with commanding views of Mount Etna. The hosts were very accommodating and provided a very nice and tasty breakfast with freshly baked croissants, fresh fruit and also a hot breakfast. We also had dinner, which was excellent. The food, was freshly cooked, definitely home cooked, as the host Rosalba prepared daily what we asked for. We were a party of 6 people with different needs, yet she provided the necessary options, that made everyone happy. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean.

Unfortunately the road up to the house was quite steep and challenging. For those arriving in a rental van like ours, Tino our host suggested we park at the bottom of the hill. He was very accommodating and ferried us up and down to the house, thus making our stay more enjoyable
