The location was quite challenging to get too, but once there the views were amazing. The staff were very welcoming.

The room was clean and spacious, but no television. As it was raining it would have been useful.

The restaurant food was excellent. The room itself was good.

The prices have gone up. And if there is an event, please don't place people with small kids above the main party area. Kids had trouble falling asleep and staying asleep while the DJ was playing till 22.00 and then we had trouble sleeping while the people were outside under our windows smoking and talking until 4.00

Nice but very boring. The vineyard is there, but it was not in connection with the stay (other than we could buy the wine). The place is generally good, but we had the feeling that it was not a warm welcome or an inclusive experience. On top of that, the restaurant staff could be replaced by robots - you would not notice a difference.

The place needs a "heart" and someone who give it a more personal touch.

We spent only one night at Cavril, and we really liked it. It is conveniently close to Bergamo, but at the same time, you feel like you are outside the city. The staff is super kind and helpful, especially Monica and Estela, with whom we have had more interactions. They supported us in getting the experience we wanted, recommending a nice hiking route near the property and accommodating an easy wine "tasting" with local delicacies most made on the property and all with local ingredients. Very beautiful restaurant where we had a very nice dinner. We could have stayed more days!

Based on previous reviews here, I was a bit worried about the route, but it was very okay (it was a sunny day), and we were in a small car. I can imagine only the final part, already inside the property, might get challenging on rainy days, but I believe it is still doable.

The location is great, secluded in the hills, far away from the rest of the nearby buildings while having a beautiful view. The receptionist was extremely friendly (English and Italian speaking) and helpful with tips and general information. Breakfast was fresh and good while served with a smile.

Not really an issue but the road to property is a long narrow winding road which at night is very dark. Dinner menu, although fresh ingredients were used and of good quality, there could have been more options (especially for kids).

The property is located on a steep hill without a paved access road, which makes driving to it a bit challenging for people less experienced with such driving conditions.
