We really enjoyed the location of the house, it was very close to the small village with grocery store and cafes. The house is located within half an hour ride from beautiful towns of San Gimignano and Volterra. Kids loved the pool. The owner was very kind and provided us with information about local markets and best restaurants to dine.

The beds could have been more comfy, after 5 nights sleeping there, my back was not very happy. It would have been nice if there was at least sugar and salt in the kitchen available.

Some Little things didn’t work properly: 1. The toilet flushing mechanism would stick on 2. Lighting the propane stove was very tricky. 3. It would have been nice if there were some tea and coffee supplied and perhaps some salt, pepper and spices

Amazing location, very good value for money, you will find everything in kitchen - we just needed electric kettle- we bought and left it in property! Swimming pool very good size!

The location was fantastic, just a few minutes drive from a shop for supplies and 15 minutes to Castelfiorentino with bakeries, restaurants and a train station with links to Florence & Siena. The pool was a huge hit with our 3 year old, especially the diving board! The house itself was really spacious, clean & comfortable. Being able to wander down to the veg patch and pick tomatoes, chillies, lettuce & figs to go with our dinner was a really lovely touch. Although it was grape harvesting season so we didn't see the staff very much the check-in process was really easy & Simone was very quick to respond via whatsapp if we needed anything. This was the perfect stay for us as a family - close to the places we wanted to visit but secluded enough to offer a relaxing break.
