Avondrust Guest House

Very comfortable bed, clean and modern area, well equipped kitchen (communal) and lovely braai area and back patio (communal). Beautiful location.

No wardrobe in rooms, no dressing table, nowhere to blowdry hair, no bedside mats, bedrooms huge and freezing, no heating - air-conditioning units on wall , but no controls, showers tepid, very unpleasant. No host upon arrival, briefly given keys by worker, who scurried off before we could ask about closing security gate which always seemed open. Upon leaving, there was no one to hand keys to.

The room was newly renovated, clean, spacious and had lovely views. Nice and quiet farm atmosphere. Loved the possibility of cycling into the nearby farms and mountains

Beautiful farm view. Peaceful. Very well equipped kitchen, bedrooms and braai facilities. Can highly recommend a stay here. Perfect for small groups traveling together or a weekend break away.

Need one more towel rail in the disabled bathroom.

The accommodation is lovely, with everything you might need for a comfortable overnight stay. The guest house is just off the N2, so very convenient, but still quiet and peaceful. A lovely swimming pool to cool off in, on a very hot summer day.

No aircon, but fans available.
