The scenery is stunning, and the cottage has a view to die for. The cottage layout is nice and spacious. Kitchen well kitted out. The inside of the cottage was spotless. The owner welcomed us warmly and was lovely to chat to him.

The exterior was really messy. Braai area just looked unkept and there were things lying around, looked like a bit of dumping area. It's such a stunning setting, the facilities just need to match. No wood, we had to ask. No ice. - Items I expect at this price point. Loadshedding an obvious issue for all, but by now we need to be geared up with at least a light or two or just ice to have a gold drink after a long day's drive.

"Superb"

We felt like being at the back of beyond- but in a good way! Very quiet, lovely views, very nice hosts, and excellent Wifi :-) The kitchen and kitchenware is very rustic but ok.

The road to the cottage was quite a challenge but we managed eventually with our sedan vehicle.

"Rustic peaceful stay"

We enjoyed the peace and security of the farm . we were able to take a short drive to see springbuck and gemsbok. the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Good stopover to rest.

The house is very rustic but if that what is expected it is comfortable.

"Excellent Rustic Stay Good Value for Money"

Farm stay at its best. Quiet area, away from the freeway, in the Karoo. Beautiful sunset, even more beautiful sun-rise. I went for an early morning cycle around the farm and was joined by one of the resident dogs. Was a great fresh experience. The owner even sacrificed his only bottle of wine for me.

The bed could have been a little more comfortable, but considering the rates charged, the stay was great overall.

Wonderful location, very quiet and serene. Loved gazing at the stars at night.

The cottage was not cleaned thoroughly. The place was dusty, bedding was covered in an unknown white powder, everything was full of dust, with spider webs. Linen was not fresh. There was no shower head and the bathroom is not cleaned properly. It's unfortunate, since the location is good but the housekeeping and maintenace of the property is exceptionally poor.
