La Falconara

Such a beautiful place! Very comfy room, lovely hosts (including cat and dog!) and don’t get me started on the breakfast. Just go here and experience it yourself!

The house and views are perfectly beautiful and relaxing. Our room, Fly me to the Moon was plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teens in the loft. The breakfasts were delicious and such a wonderful way to start our days. And Marco and Christille were so friendly and welcoming. La Falconara was the perfect relaxing transition on our vacation. We easily visited Pienza, Montecino, Siena and Montepulciano.

It was the highlight of our road trip, relaxing, authentic and warm-hearted. Very close to Montepulciano but in a serene sorroudings with no immediate neighbours. A dream.

Our stay at La Falconara was amazing, and a true highlight of our Tuscany trip. The hosts Christelle and Marco were incredible hosts and made us feel welcomed into their home. The property is recently renovated, so it has modern amenities but still with traditional Tuscan charm. There is a communal area to use for cooking if you wanted to and there is a stocked drinks fridge to purchase a wide range of locally sourced drinks from. The views from the property were gorgeous, especially enjoyed whilst sitting down to the fantastic breakfast that was all homemade by Christelle everyday. Just an incredible setting to either relax by the pool or a base to explore on your holiday.

It is a long gravel road to get to the property and is 10 minutes outside of montepulciano - car needed. We knew this whilst booking and it didn’t detract from our stay.

It you want a place in the heart of Tuscany, with gorgeous views over olive trees and vineyards, breathtaking sunsets, hosts with positive energy and a tasty breakfast cooked from scratch by the host, La Falconara is the place to be. Marco and Christelle, you were excellent hosts, thank you!

We had an incredible stay at La Falconara! The views were truly breathtaking, the hosts were a delight and the room was lovely. Highly recommend!

It’s just what we were looking for- a working farm house in the middle of a Tuscany landscape. Perfect hosts, great breakfast.

The road there is a bit tricky, so it’s better to arrive for the first time during the day

What an amazing place located in the most beautiful area of Tuscany. Perfect for watching the sunrise over the olive grove and swim in the pool. There is a delicious homemade breakfast with great variety and new items everyday. We stayed for 2 nights but wish we had longer - this could be your base for a week. The hosts Christelle & Marco made the stay and we would love to return.

The location is not far from Montepulciano and offers nice views of the olive groves and the vineyards. For us also it is in a good location to atch the ferry from Ancona The building itself is a well maintained old building that has some character. WE booked the 2 level studio. The reception and the welcome by Marco was friendly and Christelle did her best to offer several alternatives for the breakfast everyday. The bed was comfy and the bathroom large enough

Allthough close to Montepulciano the last 500 meters to the property is a dirt road with lot of potholes and stones on the surface which makes it quite uncomfortable to drive to / from there even for my Mercedes SUV. The room itself lacked a table where one could place a laptop and do some work, whereas there was only 1 chair in the room. No coffee machine or other coffee in the room, only some tea outside the room in a small lobby used by 2 rooms. Allthough coffee was available in the kitchen it was not very convenient. No fridge in the room is also a problem. The room could benefit from some additional face towels in addition to the body sized towels supplied. Finally allthough the walls between the rooms are thick stone walls very soundproof the doors to the room from the lobby are so thin you can hear everything.
