"Comfortable and friendly stay in a Lovely authentic farmhouse, in a beautiful setting."

The location and ability to have breakfast on the terrace, with birds singing was lovely. The room facilities were good, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Nice to stay in a farmhouse with history with gardening / farming going on.

It may have been because we were there just at the beginning of the season … there was a smell of dampness in the room, particularly in the kitchenette area. Helped to air out the room before night.

"Absolutely perfect stay"

Unique setting. If it hadn’t been raining the entire time, I would have liked to explore the entire farm bc there was a lot to see. And Antonio is the kindest, most generous host. The complimentary fruit, wine, meat and cheese, and fresh bread each morning just took it over the top.

The Quinta was beautiful, historic, charming. We loved sitting on the large patio with table and chairs and an umbrella overlooking the garden. The room was spacious, well designed, rustic yet totally comfortable. All kitchen appliances and tableware were provided. We loved the very comfortable bed. A large bowl of beautiful fruit was there for us along with a bottle of wine and breakfast food. Rolls were left for us daily. The family chapel and the grounds including sheep and grape vines added to the beauty and uniqueness of the place. When no taxi arrived at the train station, Antonio kindly picked us up.

We loved everything. Something to be aware of - we didn’t have a car and a taxi to Viana do Castelo cost $23 euro each way.

We liked the atmosphere which is authentic and romantic and taken care of. We loved the owners who were very generous and modest at the same time. We also loved the dogs.
