Excellent location in the countryside near Illirska Bistrica, along the river. Very good restaurant with excellent local meats and large portions. Good choices for breakfast. Comfortable room.

"Friendly owners and lovely food"

Valentina and all the family were very friendly and helpful. Valentina arranged for us to go on a bear observation trip with a friend of her father, which was a very special experience. The food was delicious - the evening meal portions were huge though! Breakfasts were slightly different each day, with a range of fruit, breads, pastries, cheese and their own cured meats.

My bed wasn't very comfortable, so I woke with back pain in the mornings - but I know everyone is different & it is impossible to please everyone!
