Luisenthal Conac Boutique Retreat & Spa Bucovina

This was our favorite spot we stayed in our 2 weeks in Romania! The staff was sooooooo nice and helpful! The day before we arrived they called to ask if we were eating there, we said yes both nights. If you stay and don’t eat dinner there, you are missing the most amazing meals we had on our trip! After dinner we went for our evening walk then came back for dessert. The breakfasts were just as good as the dinner. It was enjoyable to have a quiet night and enjoy our holiday.

Nice host, quiet location, comfortable room, very good and varied food every day. In winter, there is enough warm in the room although it was cold outside.

It would be better to have a minifridge in the room

very clean, nice details on furniture, was quiet and fresh air. we book the property 10 minutes before arriving, which was not in our plans, we choose the room we wanted and the host was very nice. the breakfast was home made most of it and they serve a delicious cherry jam.

The location is nice and the property looks good. The room was comfortable, nice design, beautiful view. It's quite fun to arrive by car over the unused railroad tracks with trees grown on it. There is a football court and large area in the back for activities. The menu you can have is quite interesting. The menu has on the house liqueur and tuica. The dinner had a good quality, it was tasty. The breakfast was great selection of quality products! The personnel was kind and nice. Price for room was ok.

The check in experience was a bit chaotic, some waiting time, some confusion. We would have preferred breakfast from 8. Although the dinner was planned in advance and we were anyway late by 20 minutes to arrive, still we waited 30 more minutes until getting the pre-ordered food. The price of food is over mid point (eg desert 20, menu built around mici with some sides at 40) and the portions are mid. The turkey leg was smaller than a chicken leg and the mustard portion was enough for maybe 2 of the 4 mici. The breakfast space is limited, we had to eat outside, it was not cold but it was full of wasps creating discomfort. Bathroom is small with few defects, the shower was tiny for larger men.
