Das gesamte Anwesen ist schön gelegen und sehr gut gepflegt, Die Gastgeber sehr zuvorkommend und wirklich nette Leute. Das Personal im Restaurant, von der Bedienung bis zur Küche, sehr sehr freundlich und witzig! Die Küche ist spitzenmäßig gut! (Italienische Hausmannskost, es gibt was es gerade gibt) Wir sind glaube ich, jeden Tag bei Cheloni essen gegangen.... Der Poolbereich mit den Liegen ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, wirklich gut zum entspannen. Da das Anwesen alleine steht, ist die Umgebung sehr ruhig und angenehm. Man ist mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten am Meer und in der Stadt Livorno, Pisa ist auch sozusagen vor der Haustüre, super Lage einfach, wer diese Art von entspanntem Urlaub mag.

The staff make this place - which itself is stunning. They constantly go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable, fantastic. You're close enough to many sites for day trips while tucked away in Tuscan countryside for peace and quiet. Beautiful place.

Just perfect.

It was the second time that we stayed at Cheloni. We returned as we absolutely loved our first stay. This time it was as good, if not better. First, the hosts are absolutely great and very very nice. Also all the other staff is really friendly. Also for the 3 kids we had with us. We had the largest apartment which was really spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The pool is nice, on the hill, and for us had the perfect temperature as we like a “cooler dive” during these hot Tuscan summers. Lastly, the restaurant is an experience in itself. We had dinner here five times during our 8 day stay. Which hopefully says it all. Surrounded by locals you get to experience the Tuscan / Italian cuisine. The value for money is just great. Although we would like to keep Cheloni for ourselves 😉 we would highly recommend to go here if you have the chance. La dolce vita.

We stayed at Agroturismo Cheloni and we are very disappointed with this place. We have specifically chosen this hotel for the fact that they have an on-site restaurant and also offered a room for 3 people (per description: 1 king size bed and one single bed). Upon arrival, we came to a place that looked abandoned. There was no evidence of people or hosts expecting guests. The terrace was used as a storage for plastic furniture, the yard was filled with pots full of cigarette buts, everything was closed. After repeatedly knocking on several doors out came an employee who was cleaning the kitchen. She spoke only Italian and we spent quite a lot of time explaining that we were guests who booked a room. When we were finally led up the dirty stairs and shown the room, it turned out that the single bed was actually a broken folding bed. It was bent in a way that your head and feet were facing downward, while your torso was up. We asked the very irritated lady if we could talk to the owner. I asked him about the bed. Not only he refused to come look at it, he told us he could provide neither dinner nor breakfast and told me very belligerently that if we do not like something we could leave, but he will be keeping the money. It took us almost an hour to explain that we booked a breakfast and finally they decided on a person who will be able to come. Also, later we discovered there was no information in the room about anything and no wifi password. The bathroom flooded every time we took a shower. The very expensive breakfast the next morning consisted of stale bread and croisants in a dirty, dark kitchen. The hosts never showed up. We found couple of restaurants in the nearby villages for dinner. Although, coming back after dinner was not fun as there was no light on the property, they turned it off. Cleaning, towel change is all extra money. The second night, there was a party at the restaurant, very loud and cooking smells permeated our room. 2 nights cost 366 euros.
