Breathtaking Scenery: The views are absolutely stunning, even better than the photos online suggest. Charming House: The house is beautifully and atmospherically decorated; the online pictures truly don’t do it justice. Lovely Pool: The pool is clean, well-maintained, and overlooks a gorgeous landscape. Spacious Rooms: There are six large, inviting rooms, each with its own bathroom. Everything was clean and well cared for. Useful Amenities: Dishwashers and fridges made meal prep and storage easy. Eco-friendly: Recycling facilities were available. Secure Entry: The property has a bar gate with a security code. Breakfast: Breakfast is available for €9 per person (although Booking.com listed it at €8). It included scrambled eggs, toast, yogurt, cheese, juice, fruit, jams, cakes, and coffee/tea. Outdoor Patio: There’s a lovely patio next to the house, with removable clear curtains for comfort in any weather. Warm Hospitality: The hostess’s mother-in-law was especially welcoming, sharing stories about the house’s history (it was originally a cow shed!) She even told us we were perfect guests and encouraged us to return.

Challenging Access: The last half-mile to the property is along a steep, narrow, and bumpy road. No Welcome Extras: It would have been nice to be greeted with something small upon arrival (like fruit, juice, or wine), especially for longer stays. Kitchen Supplies: Not enough good cutting knives or chopping boards. Housekeeping: There were some cobwebs on the ceilings in both rooms and bathrooms, and there was no housekeeping service during our stay. Trash Disposal: We had to take all our trash to a designated area near the house, but this wasn’t mentioned beforehand. Pool Towels: Pool towels cost €3 each. Toiletries: Only a tiny shower gel and a small bar of soap were provided, so bring your own. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was slow and didn’t reach all areas of the property. Maintenance Issues: One toilet didn’t flush for two days, and one room’s air conditioner was missing a remote, so it couldn’t be used. Communication: Communication was done via WhatsApp, but messages came from several staff members who didn’t identify themselves, making it unclear who we were talking to at times. Also, after the reservation was confirmed, the property attempted to add extra payments for electricity use and a cleaning fee. The issue was resolved without us needing to pay them.

What a gem! We loved the gorgeous family-run property, the friendly staff and owners, the incredible pool, and the food. Very laid back and relaxed vibe. Beds are very comfortable. Excellent location for taking day trips. Definitely worth getting out of the bigger cities to see the smaller towns since they are much less touristy and the cost is very reasonable. We loved being in a place where Italians and other Europeans vacation, it feels more authentic than you might find in bigger cities.

There were no napkins in our apartment or towels for the pool. Not a big deal but would have been nice to know so we could bring them. Maybe that is common in Italy though.

The place was amazing, garden, room, everything. The owners were very helpful and kind. We felt like we were visiting our friends :) For sure we will be back!
