They are nice studios, everything was provided. A lot of space around and the possibility to walk, sit and eat outside the Rondello. The location is perfect. Very close to the Boys choir school and convenient to all the hikes in the Central Drakensberg area.

Wonderful location only 10mins from monks cowl and nice shops and restaurant nearby. The owners are lovely and welcoming, very knowledgeable about trails and happy to give advice. The room is so well kept, comfortable and has everything you need. The surrounding is beautiful. We’d love to go back one day!

"Comfortable, private, scenic, close to trails - fantastic value."

Right on the main road that goes to Monk's Cowl (just 10 minutes further). The resort right across the road has a shop and restaurant (which I also recommend). My Rondavel was comfortable and stocked with all of the necessities. The electric frying pan was handy. Wifi was great and it was nice to have a real table and chairs (I did some work while I was there). The owners are pleasant, available, and informative. The dogs are very friendly and well-behaved. I saw a lot of incredible birds on the property. The view of the valley from my door was fantastic! Very good value.

A tad on the rustic side, the plumbing in the tub was fussy, and I had to extract the odd moth or spider - nothing that would keep me from returning!
