Such friendly and hospitable hosts. The room was pristine, view breathtaking, and food spectacular!

the property is traditional and exactly what you would expect from a farmstay, but at the same time incredibly well maintained and exceptionally clean. the hosts were so nice and welcoming, cared about our stay and our satisfaction.

The 4 of us were picked up at the train station by Marianna and Pasqulino, one of the owners. Marianna speaks some English. We arrived late so it was too late to go into town for dinner. Their great restaurant across the street from the lodging is closed 2 days a week and we unfortunately arrived on one of those days. Pasqulino offered to open up the kitchen and prepare meals for us. About 1 hr. later, they arrived with an amazing assortment of local cheeses, sliced meats, a loaf of fresh bread, marinated vegetables, potatoes with spinach, an assortment of sliced local bell peppers, buffalo mozzarella, a bottle of water, a bottle of local red wine and some after dinner cookies to eat and dunk in the wine. They brought a tablecloth to place over a table in a sitting area in between our 2 rooms. Linen napkins, silverware, water glasses, wine glasses and another chair. I have no idea what is on their menu or the prices, but this food was amazing, the wine exceptional and service...I have no words.... It was worth every euro. The experience was priceless. But wait, there is more. We only had 1 night here. We had breakfast at the restaurant patio. It was very good with the best fresh squeezed orange juice in Italy. Marianna asked when we needed to be at the train station and if we wanted a quick tour of Castro Dei Volsci, the beautiful hilltop village, before being dropped off. Of course, we said yes. I assumed it was going to be an auto tour until Pasqulino parked the car. We had the quickest private tour ever. With only 30 minutes, we were escorted through the cobblestone walkways to the viewpoint church at the top. Breathtaking views and not any location during this walk that wasn't postcard beautiful. The photos that they have for their site are accurate. Everything was as described. Clean, beautiful, comfortable, quiet and an excellent value. That is not why we will go back. We will go back because of all of that and the way we were treated.

I needed more room to add to all of the reasons this place is so special and so worth a visit. And more room to add all the reasons Pasqulino & Marriana made our time there one of the most memorable in our 3 weeks in Italy.
