Fairbairn Guest Farm

The farm experience. The personal touch provided by our hosts. Large rooms, comfortable beds. Decor is very welcoming. All the amenities you need to cook, braai, etc. Truly a gem!

The gravel road leading to the farm is rough but is usable by any vehicle.

The two farmhouses were immaculately renovated, without losing their character. there were plenty of fridges, cutlery etc. The rooms were big and special care was taken to make the visitor feel at home. Special detail such as emergency lights in every room as well as plug points, including two-pin. The kitchen was fitted with state-of-the-art equipment. The lounge was very spacious with full DSTV. The “Braai-kamer” Barbeque room was spacious with all the amenities you can think of including a TV and a big family dining table. Our host and owner, Linky, was so helpful and very special indeed. Breakfast was very good. To have a quiet evening and night and to wake up with the sound of birds was very special. The surrounding mountains and views were spectacular and the ideal stay for a family breakaway as well. We have travelled a lot both locally and abroad and this was the best Guesthouse (B&B) we have stayed in. If I can give it an 11/11 rating I certainly will. Everthing we experienced makes the 14km dirt road drive worthwhile.

Nothing. The misty weather caused the WiFi connection to be very slow, but then you are on a farm.
