Assegai Rest

It was good.

Sorry to say but there is rules everywhere. Stuck on walls, in the toilets etc. We all felt that the folder with the rules was enough. The property is not cheap and to be ruled by rules why you want to relax was a bit 2 much.

Assegaai Rest was a hit with my family! They could not stop raving about the tipis, the cleanliness, and the warm hospitality they encountered. The tents are positioned in a picturesque spot and a real treasure. They relished being in the midst of nature and fully embracing this one-of-a-kind experience. The sound of a nearby river was a delightful backdrop, and they loved spending evenings by the fireplace. A huge thank you to the gracious couple who made this unforgettable experience possible on their property.

Peaceful oasis surrounded by the hills and reserve. Surrounded by nearby wine fields and charming Montagu. Tipi tents very well equipped with solar powered fridge and usb connection to recharge basics. Very friendly owners Jackie and Andre.

We stayed in the Noy Noy Tipi and had a magical experience....the rain outside with the stream below gushing and fireplace warm inside. Glamping at its best... Comfortable, tidy and so well set up... At a very reasonable cost. A memorable experience so close to nature in a private camping resort... The hammocks on the deck and overall ambience is something to experience. OPen space outside, a swimming pool to cool down and walking trails. Close to Robertson with amazing wine farms and shops for convenience. Great communication from Jackie and warm welcome.

Maybe consider a more waterproof cover for deck on rainy days and adding wifi password to book in tent.

Glamping paradise

The cottage was neat and clean, and well equipt. So much attention was given to smaller details and décor. The hot tub was amazing (we visited in the heart of Winter). The beautiful views with the sound of the river running nearby made it very tranquil, the ideal place to relax and get away from city noise. And even more so that we got to take our little furchild with us on the trip. The hosts were great and very welcoming. I would highly recommend Olea Cottage and hope to visit again soon.

Breathtaking location. Clean, warm, comfortable and welcoming cabin with fireplace and everything you need and more. Wonderful huge balcony with braai, hanging chairs and deck chairs overlooking mountains and fields. PLUS hot tub! Beautiful hiking routes. Dog friendly! Friendly, helpful owners.
