Nel contesto una ricettività accogliente e al contatto con la natura locale (fattoria didattica), ma qualcosa non c’entra con tale ambiente… una lupa (vera) sicuramente approvata dalla forestale la permanenza, trattandosi di un animale protetto e censito. Un lupo rinchiuso in un serraglio è alimentato a orecchiette al sugo e bruschette, secondo una logica naturale una alimentazione sicuramente non consona per un carnivoro!

After 4.5 hours driving through Italy’s mountain roads, arriving here felt like coming home. The rooms are spacious, with air conditioning, en suite bathroom, mini-fridge stocked with complimentary water, and even a private sheltered veranda. Everything is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with plenty of outdoor space to relax. This is a working farm, which makes the stay even more special. You’re surrounded by well-cared-for animals — bunnies, horses, ponies, donkeys, pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, and yes… even a real wolf! They are looked after every morning, and we saw the team doing it — great to watch, especially for the kids. The location is peaceful, away from the main village, making it the perfect family getaway. Add to that nice local food, delicious homemade pizza, and genuinely friendly service — and you’ve got a place worth every euro. We’ll definitely be back!

The Fattoria Rovello is a beautiful farm in San Paolo di Civitate. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main village, it is a perfect getaway for families with young children and can also be a romantic attraction for couples. The views are absolutely stunning and there are animals like bunnies, horses, ponies, donkeys, pigs, chickens, goats, sheep and even an actual wolf! My girls had a wonderful time interacting with the animals. The staff of this great family business are wonderful, attentive to each customer’s needs and they work very hard to make sure that we had a great time. We love you guys and we have now been back 4 times and will be back again next year for sure!

It is perfect, there is nothing I didn’t like.

As usual, Fattoria Rovello was a dream. The staff are so friendly and kind and patient (even when my italian doesn't make sense!). It is a very cozy space and it is clear that so much care is put into every aspect! I highly recommend a stay to all- there's no better place!

Excellent dinner with a variety of local produce and dishes to try. Big clean bathroom. Comfy beds.

Be aware that the facility hosts late-night events. It can be hard to sleep when fireworks fire at midnight and music screams all night. This is a real farm. The pens are small and not particularly clean. It is upsetting to see the animals kept in these conditions.
