"Excellent but please ensure that mosquitoes are kept at bay with the necessary measures in place."

It was the perfect setting - so much so that we extended our stay because we didn't want to leave. Would absolutely go back.

Management would not have been able to control this, but there was a serious problem with mosquitoes which kept us awake most of the night. It would have been ideal if there were mosquite nets over the beds at least or even bug spray available in the room. It dampened what would otherwise have been a perfect ten-star stay.

The bedding and towels were excellent quality and bed very comfortable. The shower pressure was good and water hot. The room was a good size.

There was only one bedside lamp - there should be one per side especially as there are 2 pedestals. Also, the single lamp was not working. The white board marker in the kitchen to write comments was dry - so we could not leave a message about the lamp. I was slightly bothered that I ticked "pay later" when booking and the money was taken immediately (but I think that is booking.com and not the hotel)
