We stayed in Appelhuis (1 of 3 cottages on the property) a rustic, large & comfortable cabin-style accommodation located in the middle of a working orchard. Stunning mountain views & very accommodating, welcoming staff.

We stayed early June & more heating in the bedroom & bathroom would help combat the cold nights.

There are several things that need attention… the kettle was old and stained on the outside which really doesn’t look good. The fridge also old and a bit tacky. In general the kitchen and it’s contents needs upgrading. The curtain in the bedroom had a big stain on it. The toilet roll holder is loose. If you are elderly the isolated location with virtually No Connectivity is definitely of concern. No wi fi and virtually no signal! Should you have some emergency this is a real concern ! Although there is a tv with decoder nothing worked and no instruction manual was provided. Weather was hot—- a fan provided but no extension . The shelf on left hand side of bed in main bedroom poorly placed and easy to bump your head badly However a magnificent tranquil location .

No one to look after our needs. No milk for coffee or tea.

Meubels zijn oud en met vlekken, zo ook de gordijnen. Het was er niet proper. De keukenkastjes zitten vol spetters. Beddengoed is wit maar vol vlekjes die er niet meer uitgaan. In 1 bed lag een levende kakkerlak en in een ander dode kleine vliegjes. Het ontbreekt aan gezellige verlichting in de woning. Sierkussens waren ook niet schoon. En de badkamers zijn ook zwaar verouderd. Je kunt er prima verblijven maar het was voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Alleen als het opgeknapt wordt. Wij zijn schoner gewend.
