Åsgardane Gjestegard

Sjarmerende og fint rom i et stabbur, det passet oss perfekt. Rommet hadde det man trenger for en natt, koselig bord for to med utsikt.

Nydelig beliggenhet i landlige omgivelser. Mulighet for både matlaging og kaffekoking på rommet, og god seng å ligge i. Sjarmerende rom dersom man liker gamle hytter og enkel standard.

Standarden var som på en eldre hytte, med en del fluer som lurte seg inn. Litt kummerlige forhold for oppvask og matlaging, men det fungerte. Skulle gjerne truffet på de som driver stedet, bare for at det er mer hyggelig, men fikk god info på sms.

Peaceful location, quiet yet accessible to our route. Clean, well stocked with pots/pans/cutlery and a coffee pot to make our meals (BYO coffee and filter, and all your food/spices). It had a nice full kitchen and fridge/freezer. Books and basic furnishing to feel “homey” for relaxing but also clean and universal (clearly a rental and not otherwise a private home). Loved the location, wild plants and seeing little wild strawberries growing under our steps.

Being forced to pay extra for sheets, towels and somewhat for cleaning without full disclosure that we needed to ahead of time. Couldn’t figure out how to match the pile of sheets to our beds right, but we made it work; and the towels left were only hand-towel size.

We loved our stay at the Åsgardane Gjestegard. We stayed in the 1982 mini house which was very nice and clean! Autentisk! The owners are so nice. Lovely animals around.. The toilet and shower are in a different place, you have to walk for one minute across the field, but that didn't bother us. Overall a lovely little spot and we would definitely visit again. Thank you.
