Heater was hard to work so a bit cold.

The owners of the stay were lovely and very accommodating to our booking on short notice. The hilltop retreat is basically 2 large storage containers joined together with a small kitchen with basic necessities and a little bathroom and double bed, sofa and TV. There is a beautiful little open wooden verandah and with seat and table to sit outside if you like. What I'd like to suggest to them would be putting a little sign at the bottom of their road for hilltop retreat because it was a little difficult to find their house.

I thought the heater didn't work very well. It was very slow to heat up and there was only a small space heater for the entire space (bedroom, bathroom and kitchen), unless there was another I couldn't find. The other thing that I had an issue with was the sofa bed- it was so incredibly thin and uncomfortable, I don't think it should even be advertised as another bed, well not for adults anyway. I've never slept on anything so uncomfortable with springs digging into my back.

Friendly arrival.

Actual bed frame is broken on one side, made for a very uncomfortable sleep. Very little room either side of the bed, made getting up in the night to a baby very difficult. Bathroom way to small. Only 2 sugar sachets. And whilst getting my baby dressed on the couch a white tail spider ran across the cushion. Hilltop view marginal. Neat idea but poorly excuted.
