Agriturismo Sommavalle

I can't recommend this enough. We had a lovely clean and big apartment and it was perfect for a couple of days in lovely Verona. We had a lovely welcome with good tips on Verona.

Everything was excellent regarding the room and the whole venue. Just be aware of the mosquitos, they are not many but there's no need to be more than one 😀. Parking spot inside the property, decently quiet sorroundings (the occasional car and some remote music from a nearby venue on a Friday evening). The pics on booking are correct. Truth to be told, the property was so neatly decorated with African art, with explanations about the origins of each piece that sometimes I felt like in a high street store. The hosts were discreetly present, quietly helpful. Breakfast was good.

This is a boutique "hotel" on a hill which means we had a great view to the countryside, quietness, huge and beautiful garden and very unique interior design. Both Marco and Dominico were very friendly and gave us tips to travel around the area. Breakfast was cooked and prepared by them. The salame and hams were freshly cut so it wasn't dry and tasted deliciously. Ask for their own olive oil and tomatoes from the garden for breakfast.

Location. The whole idea of an agriturismo style accommodation. Tranquility. Unique. Only 4 rooms in the main building. Eclectic.

The pillows and bed were too hard.
