Mekong Delta Ricefield Lodge

Le cene sono state buonissime il menù è stato adattato alle mie intolleranze.. Martin e Vi sono disponibili e ci hanno proposto escursioni molto affascinanti.

Kompetente und sehr nette Gastgeber (Martin und Vi) mit wirklich sehr guten Ausflügen (Boot, Dorf, Bike) in das authentische Vietnam. Es waren unsere schönsten 4 Tage innerhalb unserer 3-wöchigen Vietnamreise. Die Bootstour war unser absolutes Highlight mit vielen Erlebnissen und Eindrücken des vietnamesischen Flusslebens im Mekong Delta. Das vorzügliche Abendessen in gemeinsamer Runde mit den anderen Gästen und den Gastgebern der Lodge war jedesmal sehr informativ, unterhaltsam und lustig. Cảm ơn rất nhiều!

Wir können von Herzen empfehlen, Martins Unterkunft zu buchen! Die Unterkunft von Martin liegt abseits des touristischen Teil des Mekong Deltas, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Der Emfpang war sehr herzlich mit einem Willkommensgetränk und einer leckeren Obstplatte. Wir konnten kostenlos Fahrräder ausleihen, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Martins Speedboottour zum Floating Market war jeden Cent wert. Das Essen (drei Gänge) war vorzüglich und es wurde sehr viel Rücksicht auf meine vegetarische Ernährung genommen! Martin war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, er organisierte uns ein Taxi für das Krankenhaus und half uns mit jeglichen Wünschen wie Fieberthermometer, Kühlschrank etc aus… Auch die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen! Danke noch einmal!!

Alles, wirklich alles: es hat begonnen mit der tollen Kommunikation vor der Ankunft und Organisation der Abholung vom Bus. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und unser Bungalow war wunderschön und mit allem ausgestattet. Es wurde auf jedes Detail geachtet und wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben, wurde uns sofort geholfen. Martin und seine Partnerin sind herzliche Gastgeber und vermitteln ein „Zuhause-Gefühl“. Das Essen war herrlich, für uns wurde vegetarisch gekocht. Wir haben eine Boottour mit Martins Speedboot gemacht, es war ein tolles Erlebnis, unbedingt empfehlenswert. Fahrräder waren kostenlos auszuborgen und Motorräder konnten gegen eine geringe Gebühr ausgeborgt werden. Wir haben es genossen!

From the moment I arrived at Mekong Delta Ricefield Lodge, I felt a huge weight lift from my shoulders. Martin and Vi could not have done more to make me feel welcome. The peaceful location is beautiful (right on the river), and I was lucky to share my stay with some really lovely fellow guests. As others have said, Martin’s boat trip to the floating markets is a highlight and an absolute must if you’re staying here. Both Martin and Vi are very knowledgeable about the area, and you feel very well looked after during your time with them. They’re also very supportive and friendly with the local community and they do what they can to contribute positively, which was really heartening to experience. If you’re hesitating, don’t! This place is truly special. It was a highlight of my trip (and I’d visited many places and countries before arriving here). On one day I had exceptionally bad period pain, and Vi kindly made me a hot water bottle and some ginger tea—I felt so cared for. She also helped arrange for an item I’d left at my previous hotel to be sent to the lodge, which I really appreciated. I loved the breakfasts and evening suppers too—it was lovely chatting with other guests over delicious food. The meals were AMAZING, some of the best I’ve had in Vietnam! And I completely fell in love with their five adorable dogs :D
