Casa das Ameias

This hotel is a very special place to stay at! Great ambience in a house from the 16th century, which has been rebuilt with a lot of love. It even has its own small chapel! The rooms are absolutely beautiful, great rooftop-pool, fantastic garden, furnishings with attention to detail, best breakfast…a peaceful oasis. We enjoyed every second of our stay and didn't want to leave. The owners and their staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. We felt completely comfortable and can recommend this unique hotel 110%. Casa das Ameias is something very special and we definitely want to come back. Thank you very mucg for everything!

O staff foi extremamente prestável e sempre muito preocupados com o bem estar dos hóspedes. A casa é muito bonita, bem localizada e o pequeno almoço estava muito bom também. Por tudo isso a estadia valeu muito a pena.

Because I had my window open I could occasionally hear the folks next door and a bit of traffic. However this was not a problem

It was a fabulous experience to stay at Casa das Amelias. The property is worthy of a design prize. The owners and staff were very super friendly and offered wine as a welcome gift. The breakfast was incredibly yummy with homemade cake, jam, granola, eggs cooked to your liking and all the other options a good breakfast needs. It was heaven! Lounge at the pool and make excursions to Aveiro or Viseu, both only a short drive away.

Our stay at this lovely house was truly exceptional, thanks in large part to the generosity and kindness of the hosts. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. In addition to the warm hospitality the house itself was a true gem. Tastefully decorated and impeccably maintained, it provided a cozy and inviting retreat. The comfortable rooms, charming decor, and peaceful surroundings made for a truly memorable stay. A delicious breakfast was served each morning, with a variety of options to suit every taste, and additionally the hosts took great care to accommodate our preferences. It was a delightful way to start the day. Overall, our experience at this house was nothing short of wonderful, thanks to the exceptional hosts, delectable breakfasts, and welcoming atmosphere. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the opportunity to stay in such a special place.

Our recent stay at Casa Das Ameias was thoroughly enjoyable. Our hosts Celeste and Antonio and staff were beautiful, friendly and delighlfully kind people who went out of their way to make our stay incredible. The traditional breakfast provided each morning was absolutely delicious and was served in one of the most breathtaking rooms in this 16th Century transformed house. Everything about our stay was wonderful including our room which was magnificently decorated, incredibly clean and super comfortable. The pool was lovely with views of Vouzela and the surrounding mountains. Thankyou for making our stay so memorable and one of the most amazing and enjoyable holidays we have ever had.
