Foresteria Il Giardino di Fontarronco

The location was perfect. Close to many cities like Florenz, Siena, Arezzo, Cortona etc. and yet very quiet and peaceful. Pool is an extra and the staff were very friendly. Monica was like a friend to us, although we can not speak the same language.

Flies :) but it was obvious, since it is countryside.

It was very peaceful and relaxed on an orchard not far from Arezzo.

Our 2 bedroom ground floor apartment bathroom and living room windows backed onto the properties kitchen and staff work areas. There was a lack of privacy and it was noisy late into the evening. It was also hot during our visit with no air conditioning/ overhead ceiling fans in the apartment and only basic floor fans being totally inadequate.

The property is so beautiful, it is from 17th century and has its unique style. Marian was very nice and helpful, recommended us the best oil factory. There is a baker coming every day with fresh corneetto. Probably it is the best hotel I’ve stayed in.

The property is gorgeous, there were plum trees with pink flowers during our stay in late March. We had dinner in the restaurant a few times after long days of driving around Tuscany and it was such a comfort. It was the perfect home base. Marian and Luca were incredible and always available!
