Agriturismo La Scarpaia

This is a very nice property and the owners were very friendly and helpful. It is a about 10 - 15 minutes by car from Anghiari, so too far to walk. The road from the main highway to the house is passable by a normal car, but is windy and rough. The room and bathroom were spotless and the breakfast was very good. The pool was being renovated during my stay and it will be very nice when the work is done. There is a small village about 5 minutes away by car with a good, inexpensive restaurant and bar.

Nothing - all was good.

This was a fantastic and relaxing stop. Our hosts were wonderful and it felt so great to be in Italy away from the usual places all the crowds are. We had a wonderful dinner in the nearby village.

The scenery is really beautiful, the junior suite is big enough for a family of 3, the staff (Laura and her family) are very friendly.

There is nowhere to walk if you go out of the fence. There are very strict rules for the pool, you have to wear a cap which makes is less enjoyable. The breakfast is very poor. The suite is a bit too close to the family house, you have little privacy. The suite doesn’t have a terrace, there is parking right in front of the door.
