Agriturismo Casa al Povero

Beautiful place to stay outside Volterra. Entire home with everything you need. Very clean, hospitable hosts, comfortable beds, 2 showers, shampoo and body wash supplies, washing machine, and a place to hang laundry. Breakfasts were well-stocked with homemade cakes, focaccia, breads, salami, hams and cheese, yogurt, juices, eggs, and cafes on request. We ate dinner there for 2 nights and the food was outstanding. The first night was lamb from their farm, and the last night we had steak fiorentino that melted in your mouth. A truly memorable experience I hardly recommend. Great space for our 2 grandsons, ages 2 and 3 to run around.

Wonderful villa and very accommodating hosts.

Beautiful location. The villa was clean and spacious. The pool was cleaned every day and kept at the perfect temperature.

This is a large 2 story villa with its own pool, table tennis table and fooseball table. The interiors are comfortably furnished. There are beautiful views of the country side and you can also see Volterra. Our hosts Paola and Alessandro were incredibly warm and made our stay there very special. They can provide breakfast and dinner. Paola is an excellent cook and made a memorable dinner for us. This is a beautiful property with wonderful hosts. We hope to return to Casa Al Povero.

this was a truly amazing property! the views, the grounds, the villa. so special. and be sure you have Paolo and Alessandro to make you dinner. wow, what experiences and fantastic food we had the two nights we did this. Paolo is a great chef. their hospitality is wonderful. it is an experience that they eight of us will never forget. we will be back!

Possibly the most beautiful accomodation I've ever stayed at. The views are spectacular!
