ROOverall, we enjoyed our stay here. The location was a nice quiet area toward the mountains, the host was very pleasant, and the room was nice, clean, and quiet. There were things we liked about it, and things that we did not, but overall the experience was positive.
The biggest problem was that it took several hours for the room to heat up, which is something we really don't like at all (but to be fair, this is an issue at many other places as well, not only here). And then I noticed that by 1am or so, the radiators in the room were already cooling down, and by morning the room was pretty cool again. This heating issue is a major one for us; a room should be warm when you get there, and stay warm until you leave. Also, the bathroom was nice, but the walk-in shower seemed too small, and it's half glass door allowed water to get everywhere in the bathroom. It was a nice room though.

FRROROThe house is located perfectly near Retezat National Park, close to the hiking trails in that area. It is quite a new construction, very well maintained and clean. There are a lot of common areas outside and inside the house where you can spend your time. It has a fully equipped kitchen, barbecue area, garden and parking spaces. There is also breakfast available upon request. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit that area.
ROROGreat location, close to Retezat mountains. Parking, shared kitchen and barbeque areas available. You will find quiet, cleanliness and a nice host! Definetely recommend! And we will definetely choose the same location for our next trip to Retezat!

USEverything. It is placed in a very nice and quiet location, close to many attractions and the Retezat National Park. It is perfectly clean. The Owner and the staff are very nice and always available to help.
I just loved it.
ROWe had a very nice stay at Nut House. It is a great location for families. The stuff is very friendly and helpful, everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the yard is very big and the kids enjoyed playing outside. I recommend it for everyone who wants to spend time in Retezat.
