"Exceptional"

Great location, close to Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, and to the sea. Very sweet hosts who are doing all they can for their guests. We did not speak italian but managed it with a translator app and lot of smiles. Room is simple but pleasant, bed is very comfortable. We had a great stay there, grazie!

L ospitalità di Lionello e della sua signora. Persone molto semplici ma con un cuore grande. La struttura é molto semplice in linea con quello che cercavamo. La camera, molto ampia e pulita.

The description on Booking.com

It isn't like the description on booking.com. There is no pool. There is no breakfast. There is no welcome. There is no WiFi. The cooker does not work ... welll one ring does and the owner tells you to look out for the light going dimmer to show when the cooker is on. The light in the bedroom works only when you bang your head on it. When you complain the owner shouts at you. When you leave after one night because nothing works they demand payment for both nights. Half the family comes to join in the argument. You agree to pay€100 so you can leave. The card machine doesn't work because the WiFi doesn't work. They tell you to cycle to the ATM ! The daughter takes you to the ATM. At last you can leave! Nightmare. Dangerous electrics. Grumpy host. I wanted a holiday....
