De locatie is heerlijk. Wel ver vanaf winkels etc. maar dat weet je. Je kijkt vanuit de fantastische tuin uit over de oceaan. Er zit een goed restaurant op 400 meter. Het is wel redelijk duur en je moet steil omhoog lopen maar het eten is heerlijk. Ook zit er op 700 meter een natuurlijk zwembadje.

Trotz dieses ursprünglichen Charakter des Hauses mit seiner Vulkansteinbauweise hat der Inhaber Arlindo an jedes Detail für einen angenehmen und erholsamen Urlaub in dieser Unterkunft gesorgt. Die liebevolle Ausstattung und der fürsorgliche Charakter des Inhabers machten unseren Urlaub zu einem wunderschönen Erlebnis. Ein Ort zum entspannen, um die Business-Welt da draußen zu vergessen.

La maison en pierre de lave est très bien aménagée et décorée et a beaucoup de charme. Le jardin est très grand et très beau, avec plusieurs espaces pour déjeuner et/ou se poser en fonction de l'heure de la journée. La vue sur la mer et Sao Jorge est magnifique. Bref un séjour exceptionnel!

We had a fantastic time here in Pico! This beautiful, authentic and cozy cottage was the perfect base for relaxing in the evenings. The garden is so beautiful. We enjoyed the flowers and the herbs for the tea. We loved the views while dining outside on the different spots. Also thanks for helping us with the power adapter and staying up late for us after our flight was delayed. You're a wonderful host!

Of all the places my partner and I stayed in the Azores, this is the one we are itching to come back to. We loved this home! As others have said, it’s like a cute, volcanic hobbit home, except it’s decorated with love and includes all of the modern niceties that you need for living. It was stocked with pots, pans, cleaning supplies, and extras of everything. It felt more like a home than a vacation spot. Arlindo, our host, gave us a great tour of the home and the immaculate garden, and even provided us with some foods/drinks when we arrived. The garden and incredible views were probably our favorite parts of the home. Waking up every day and eating breakfast, overlooking the sea, is a memory we’ll not forget. We were never bored, always able to walk the gardens to admire the variety of plants or gaze out to the sea to try and see some dolphins. We hope to be back soon!
