"Lovely stay on nice farm very close to Franschhoek!"

Very nice location just outside Franschhoek; located on a working farm - with Zebra's in your own backyard. The accommodation was spacious, fully equiped with all cooking needs, and amazing views on sunset from your garden. Safe location, 2 gates to enter property.

No back up for loadshedding, which is communicated but airco is not working during these moments.

"Memorable stay in a beautiful place."

Spacious cottage, loved the visiting chickens. Great hot tub with views of the mountains in the distance. Communal eco-pool was also really nice. All round great experience.

Kettle was a bit dirty but we cleaned it out.

The views from the property are fantastic. The property is very, very spacious and scrupulously clean and is obviously run to a very high standard. It is also well equipped for self catering. We also enjoyed sitting outside watching the family of chickens pecking around the garden.

The property is quite a distance (5 kms) from the centre of Franschhoek which could be a problem if dining (and drinking) at restaurants in town in the evening. This was not an issue for a short stay but could be during an extended stay.

"No effort made by the host to make you feel welcome ; won’t be seeing me again."

Quiet

The host was missing in action; the gate was broken host failed to inform us , it was very heavy to open and close and no effort made to see if we could get in and out of the property; exceptionally hot no cold water in the fridge only a small little box of long life milk.
