"Quiet, serene, romantic & lovely staff."

The staff was amazing, the bed was absolutely relaxing & it was quite romantic. They offered firefighters for our braai & the rooms are clean. Good to add a wine tasting on the stay since they are a vineyard.

The pool area can be taken a bit more care of. Otherwise, nothing!

Location was beautiful, cottage was clean and everything worked as indicated. Bev (the hostess) was so helpful and you could see she went out of her way to make our stay the most comfortable as possible.

There was nothing that I can think of that we didn't like.

prachtige plek middenin de wijngaarden en Franschhoek is een zeer vriendelijk en fijne plek om te vertoeven, fijn huisje met veel aanwezig. Wandelen, winkelen, eten, allemaal prima.

Bed was wat hard al is dat heel persoonlijk, voordeur heeft nogal kieren, waardoor BBQ lucht van de buren naar binnen waaide. Geen horren, daardoor niet handig te luchten als het wat donkerder werd.

I highly recommend Stony Brook Cottages! Only a short (and extremely scenic) drive from the Franschhoek village, it offers peaceful, serene accommodation with all the bells and whistles. Also extremely spacious! Staff is super friendly and helpful and check in and out procedures were a dream.
