"Best Accommodation in Veneto"

I've stayed at Ca' de Memi at least 7 times over the last several years. It's my go-to recommendation when I hear friends are visiting Venice and the surrounding area. Michaela, her daughters and her staff are some of the warmest and most welcoming folks I've met in the hospitality industry. For the access to notoriously pricey Venice (40 minute train ride for under 10€ roundtrip), they offer a stunning bargain. They also also offer meals, cooking classes and truly excellent recommendations for special experiences in the region. If you're going to be near Piombino Dese, STAY. HERE.

I wish it was closer to my house.

Lovely agroturismo place, easy to find as off the main road. Easy to get to the train station as it's nearby so you can visit Venice, Verona, Padova and many other places. Host is very lovely and nothing is too much trouble, gave us some great tips on visiting Venice. Breakfast items are all homemade with products they grow ECT and the crostata is lovely, took home some of their flour so I can have a go at making it myself. Rooms are really clean and serviced each day. Love all the artwork of chickens everywhere.

Having to go home! Didn't like that. Wish I could have stayed longer.
