"A nice stay with a lovely private hot tub"

7.0

The location. The quirky carriage and the wood fired hot tub.

The bed isn’t comfortable and maybe look to change the lumpy pillows. Suggest fitting a rail to aid getting in and out of the hot tub.

"Amazing Stay"

We had the most amazing stay. The shepherds hut is lovely and very peaceful. Only a 20 minute drive to York. Animals at the farm as well and very friendly owners. Would definitely recommend and be back.

"Gorgeous, quirky and relaxing stay"

9.0

We loved the stylish and cleverly converted railway waggon, secluded wood fired hot tub area and outdoor cooking facilities. Relaxing and peaceful base to explore the local area, and watching the lovely gang of farm animals parade up and down their field was an added bonus. We felt the site, accommodation and facilities were excellent value for money for our one night stay.

We really loved our stay, but the bed was a bit too short for my tall husband so he found it less comfortable. We only just cooked our tea before a heavy downpour and there wasn't a sheltered outdoor cooking area by the waggon so just bear the British weather in mind when planning meals.

Absolutely lovely place, met the owner lovely guy had a chat about his septic tank lol. Only 2 minor gripes and being picky barbecue had the wire mesh missing so couldn't use it and sister seemed to run constantly in our unit but maybe we pressed wrong flush button I don't know , both minor things but place was lovely and we'll be back Mike and Sonya x

Nothing to dislike
