Monte das Mariolas

The hosts were lovely, super informative, kind and helpful. The property is a little outside of Castelo de Vide. It is peaceful, relaxing and rustic and the owners describe it as such. It is very natural, simple and tasteful design.

Bed was super comfy. Location okay a bit out of castello de Vide, would have to drive to visit the village but incredible sunsets/rises from up there though

Hosts somewhat rude and arrogant. The couple were arguing in public areas, throwing things around and shouting it was very uncomfortable. We had to wait for them to wake up before we could leave on our day of departure which made us late for our onward plans. Once they were awake, we then had to wait for a room inspection to be completed before we could get our deposit back which was also an uncomfortable experience. Dried toothpaste next to the sink upon arrival and a side table in the bedroom had not been cleaned, we wouldn't have actually noted this down but to have a throughout inspection on our departure before we could get our deposit back just made the whole thing feel kind of off.

Amazing casa rural in the nature very close to the main villages of the area. Quiet place, owners are very helpful and nice people
