TENUTAYALA - Residenza Agrituristica

Very clean, modern and quiet location. Spacious, well-preserved estate with good breakfast, large pool and cute kittens. Location is great to reach all dream beaches north and south of Gallipoli within 45mins. Rental car is required.

The architecture and mood of the place is very nice and the view from the dependance right over the vineyards.

I choose this location for a peaceful, romantic weekend and it seemed to be the perfect choice but unfortunately it wasn’t. On the first night we decided to have dinner at their restaurant, at the garden area by the pool. Apparently, a private birthday party was going to happen that evening/night (they were not hotel guests) by the pool. So imagine now people having a romantic, relaxed dinner at such a poetic context that the location offers and a dj in the meanwhile is playing super loud reggae, dance, trap music - it just doesn’t make any sense. As hotel guests, we were not informed about this private event happening at our stay and I find this terribly unprofessional and not respectful. After finishing our dinner that of course was ruined, we went to our dependance where the music was still loud and went on until midnight; so we had to close every window in order to escape from it. If I wanted a party I would have chosen to go to a club, not in a Residenza Agrituristica/Tenuta (as they call themselves) in the middle of nature.

Second bedroom gets a bit hot and bright in the morning hours but otherwise great apartment

The hotel and pool area were nice. Staff were friendly and available at all times. Although there were families and loud groups, so wouldn't recommend for a couple to relax.

The hotel is connected to a restaurant that had a loud party playing music until late at night. Breakfast was ok.
