Agriturismo Villa Assunta

Assunta was very hospitable and gave us lots of tips as to where to go and what to do. The food was delicious and a lot of effort was made by everyone of the team. The hot tub was great fun. The donkeys, goats and rabbits were special and the hit of the show were two adorable kittens. We had a really fantastic week. Grazie mille Assunta and team.

Leaving was hard and our five year old son was very sad to leave the kittens behind but we will be back again.

Wonderful place, quirky rooms, lovely host and breakfast, stunning views

Location is a little remote and was hard to get to by car due to road closures. However this makes it super peaceful with gorgeous views so it’s worth it!

De authenticiteit, de natuurlijke uitstraling van het personeel, die eigenlijk de eigenares en enkele vriendinnen waren. Het was alsof je thuiskwam bij familie. Echte Italiaanse maaltijden door de vrouwen bereid. Kamer eenvoudig maar zeer proper en hygiënisch. De uitzicht zijn adembenemend. Je zit tussen twee bergketens.

Very welcoming hostess made us feel like family. The morning view of fog rising above the olive trees was amazing and we got to see how olives were harvested. It was convenient to stop there overnight on our way from Agrigente to Etna.

Would have liked fuller menu options for dinner, although what we had was very homey and satisfying.

We spent 6 wonderful days at Agriturismo Villa Assunta, and everything exceeded our expectations! The room and bathroom were spotless, and the pool area was always clean and peaceful, surrounded by a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the animals are clearly well cared for — such a lovely touch that adds to the charm of the place. The hosts were incredible — friendly, outgoing, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their warmth truly made our stay special. Overall, we highly recommend Agriturismo Villa Assunta and would definitely revisit!

Un agriturismo per turismo rurale, ristrutturato in semplicità utilizzando materiale naturale di recupero come il legno. La tenuta è su una collinetta con un panorama stupendo e nei giorni limpidi si scorge anche l'Etna😊 Siamo stati accolti dalla signora Assunta e da tutta la sua famiglia come dei parenti che vanno a fare una vacanza a casa degli zii dove pace e relax sono assicurati. Abbiamo assaporato una cucina casalinga, hanno soddisfatto ogni nostra richiesta (una buonissima zuppa di legumi)e per la gioia delle nostre bambine un buonissimo ragù 👌 Nonostante il tempo,essendo Ottobre, non caldino abbiamo trascorso un pomeriggio uggioso fra la piscina a temperatura ambiente (coperta) e la vasca a idromassaggio calda una vera goduria 🤩

The owners were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The food was also excellent.

The room was a little basic and the shower was small and difficult to get into.
