The shower was never hot, always tepid and finished fast so no possibility of a hot shower

The view was amazing and the facilities/accomodation was fantastic (luxerious, clean, well maintained). Also the service and home made breakfast were super good!

Do note we've rated this place a 10, but we would have used a swimming pool of there was any. Also, as tip for improvement; maybe a bit more green on the terrasse outside (in any case, the terrasse was very nice and tidy, just thinking about things that could make it even better)

There aren't enough words for how much I loved this place. I was looking for somewhere peaceful as a short stopover between Verona and Milan, where I could relax and do some (writing) work. I found quite a few places that looked good, but the vegetarian/vegan bias of this one clinched it for me. It was perfect in every way. The room was huge, bright and beautifully furnished with so many little touches and attention to detail. There was a little seating area with floor-to-ceiling windows forming a kind of enclosed balcony with wonderful views. There were two comfy chairs and a wooden desk, ideal for working on my laptop. I didn't really need or want to leave my room. If I could, I'd move in permanently! The bathroom was spanking clean and modern with rainwater shower. Even the toiletries, which I don't normally use, smelled nicer than most. When I did finally drag myself outside, there were shady walks on tracks through the woods above the property where I strolled for over an hour without seeing a single soul. The whole place is so quiet; the lovely old building is near the top of a hill and has sweeping views across the vineyards down to Pontida and towards Bergamo. There are lots of well-placed chairs around the patio area for sitting and reading, watching the grapes being harvested or enjoying the sunny climate, not as sticky and sweltering as in the cities. The staff are sweet, kind, efficient and hard-working, and speak excellent English (not that they should - but my Italian is not what it ought to be!) The owners go out of their way to help and accommodate, and you feel treated as an individual, not a number. The place has an air of serenity and calm, perfect for recharging your batteries and leaving the bustle behind. But above all, there's the food and the wine. Being an organic winery I expected it to be good. But I can honestly say it's some of the most delicious, and unusual - perhaps unique - wine I've ever had.

I loved absolutely everything. But others should note that it's a bit tricky to reach without your own transport. I arrived by bus and train but needed to be rescued when I couldn't find a taxi. The restaurant is closed on a Monday and Tuesday which is perfectly understandable! But without transport you're a bit stuck, unless you bring some snacks with you (there's a fridge you can use). They kindly ordered me in a pizza which was great; but I'm not sure if that's a standard solution.

The staff was extremely kind and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we stepped in. The quality of the food is on another level; from the dinners at the restaurant to the breakfast, everything was fantastic. The locally produced wine and honey were eye-opening.

Not negative, just a heads up: In the bathroom, there is a switch next to the sink that turns off the light above the mirror. We discovered this on the last day after spending loads of time looking for it.

An extraordinary experience! Exceeded our expectations! I already miss the food they served :)

Housekeeping let us without tees, the bath floor was dirty and the room temperature was low. The normal bottle of water in the room we paid on the end and was very expansive …
