"Pretty Place. We love to be there every time"

super lovely place surrounded by beautiful nature. The rooms a pretty with a nice view. The owner are lovely and we love the breakfast made with love. The way is a bit tricky but at the end you are at a beautiful quite place perfect for nice walks.

"Secluded getaway but familiarize yourself with the road to get there."

Beautiful views, food was excellent, if you looking for a remote getaway then this is it.

The road to get there was really hard, lots of stones and rocks and had to drive slowly so as to not to get a puncture, so while it’s only about 6 km from downtown Castiglione D’Orcia, it can take a really long time.

"Amazing experience, incredible food and wine"

We had a wonderful stay at Pian di Meta Vecchia. The accommodations are great, the breakfast is amazing and if you have the opportunity (confirm the available dates before), the dinner is absolutely spectacular. It was the best meal we had in Italy and it became even more special paired with the wine they produce there (try them all!). Grazie mille, Elena and Andrea!

"This was by far the most wonderful experience I've had traveling."

Elena and Andrea's place was stunning. It was quiet, and peaceful, and so full of life. The food was amazing. Our only regret was not staying longer.

Everything was absolutely perfect.

"A wonderful escape"

The breakfast was delicious, Elena and her husband offered a great variety. The dinner was outstanding, a delicious 4-course meal paired with their amazing wine. The whole place is super beautiful and a perfect hideaway from the hectic world.

"Disappointing"

The accommodation is in a magical location, which requires a rather long drive of about 20 minutes on a dirt road. The building itself is pleasant, the room is clean, beautiful and simple.

Unfortunately, we have never felt so unwelcome at the accommodation. It is obvious that the owner of the place is tired of the hospitality job. We received disrespectful treatment that really ruined the vacation there.

"Exceptional"

The place and the view is beautiful, the staff is very nice, the local wine, dinner and breakfast was all amazing. It's also located close to beautiful towns. The path there was rough, but we knew about it beforehand, so it was all fine. It was worth the ride.
