De kamer is wat donker en gedateerd wel schoon. En het bed kraakt enorm Grote douche.

Remote location. I liked having to speak Italian, but it’s not for people without some capability. Info about food options had to come from other guests. Print something up.

Would have been helpful to understand how the set meal worked and what alternatives were.

Location is stunning

We were here at the start of the season and maybe thats why it looked a bit not taken care of. Pool not clean. Sunbeds not made. No cushions on the chairs. We were asked if we’d like to have dinner and said yes. “8” was the brief comment. “Ok”? Going there just before 8 we were asked if we d like water and wine? We said yes and got it. Without any choice of even red or white, but ok. No menu was given to us. To others it was. We asked for it and got a reply..guests that just arrived get our Sardinian tasting meal, So obviuoisly again no choice. It turned out to be a tasting meal of like 8-9 things I would neve4 order myself and after tasting it, will never order again. Cows heart, cows stomache (very chewy) and cows tongue, followed by crispy pork skin. I d like to know things before I m “forced” to do it. It was not a bad experience and food kept coming on and on, but not my kinda food. That and the fact that rooms and outdoor seating is for all five room in a relatively small area, closeby to your neighbours, would make me not recommend staying here. How nice the host and his family are. Not my way of doing things.

Mario was very helpful during out stay by assisting us with bookings and recommdations for restaurants and wineries. The grounds are lovely and the pool area looked like it would be great in warmer weather (it was still covered during our early April visit). The breakfast was good - although some hot options would have been nice. If these were available, we weren't aware. Our room was very clean although housekeeping only visited to provide fresh towels during our 3 night stay.

Our room was too small to relax in - no place to sit besides a desk chair. However, the glassed in area of the restaurant is available all day long for guests to use and in the summer the pool would have been a great spot to relax. Also, there are some chairs on the porch outside the room - but, again, the weather was too cool and rainy to take advantage of those. There were no drawers in the room for unpacking anything - just some long shelves and a hanging area above that.
