We were welcomed wholeheartedly by the hostess who was incredible. Very friendly, helpful, and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was the highlight of our day, with homemade yoghurt and jams. Lovely swimming pool as well. We would recommend this accommodation if you want to have a nice getaway in a more secluded area of the Douro.

The views were beautiful and it was a very quiet location. Staff were pleasant and room was clean and bed was made every day.

Breakfast was only from 9am to 10am, which was very crowded since everyone would arrive before 9am. Breakfast was limited and could have labels to know what is what for the sauces. If you arrived a little after 9am, there would be a big chance of not having a table and having to wait. The shower doors did not seal properly and the water would come out and the bathroom floor would be flooded, causing us to use our clean towels to soak up the water. The air conditioner made a very irritate noise for some time, which we had to switch it off. It is important to have a car since restaurants were far to find.
