"Amazing, friendly, helpful, welcoming and I would definitely return again"

Hosts were fantastic, friendly and very helpful. We were attending a wedding 15 minutes away and she arranged the taxi for us, allowed us to check in early as we had to get ready for the afternoon wedding and couldn't do enough to help. The breakfast was great, everything we liked and the couple stayed and chatted with us as if we were friends. The area is quiet but the local cafe and shops were friendly and welcoming as well. We had a small balcony with a view of the local castle and easy access for parking

"Good place to stay"

Very friendly hosts and very good breakfast but sometimes they confused so phone ( no message by booking) 15 minutes before arrival to be sure you don't lose time on arrival as the host don't live at the same address. Breakfasts at 9 o' clock, not possible to have it earlier. Wifi ok but local internet connection is not so fast. Parking just in front possible.

Super! Just super! Sparkling clean, tranquil, comfortable, lovely common rooms abutting and overlooking the castle walls. Always welcoming to this touring cyclist. Super owners—warm and friendly and a good breakfast to send a cyclist off into the Alentejo! Muito obrigado! Ate ja! Michael Himes

"Very good place to stay while bicycling in Alentejo."

Very kind and pleasant owners, and the guesthouse is a wonderful, atmospheric, old building next to the castle. We enjoyed bringing our snacks and wine to the communal patio in the evening and appreciated being able to use some dishes and glasses from the kitchen. Lovely breakfast with very good coffee. We’d love to return sometime!

Other guests were a bit noisy at times.
