Moonlight Meadows just outside Dullstoom

Trout Farm stay just outside of Dullstroom. 3 separate units for adult children worked very well for us. Trout fishing was brilliant with quite a few large catches over the weekend. The dog was free to run around safely between the trout ponds. Very enjoyable weekend. Beds all had electric blankets for cold nights. Fireplace in living room was warm and cozy.

There were no refrigerators in the smaller units.

The whole place needs some TLC. Bathrooms very old, plates chipped etc.

Stunning view. House has been set up perfectly for the weather and to enjoy with a group of friends or family. I love that my little doggie was welcome, I don't think she has ever seen so much space in her life, she had plenty to explore safely. Horses also came around to say hi.

Spacious and comfortable, enough room for all the guests. Beautiful views and peaceful.

Nothing really, some maintenance issues but they were sorted out.

Close to town if you need to get something from the shop. Very comfortale house with all that you need. The bar area with the view was amazing. Had great fishing for 'pond' fishing, caught some nice strong fish. My 3 and a half year old daughter even caught 2 brown trout with flies I tied (I obviously assisted with casting). The king size beds with electric blankets, as well as heaters in the bathrooms was great since we just hit a cold front when there. Only stayed two nights but wish we stayed longer.

Would have been nice if there was some propper wood to buy on the property for the fireplace, but again town is 5min away

Great views and very good fishing. Lovely spot. We had bad weather but still had a great time.

Setting was picturesque. Trout dams are great

Public road from Dullstroom to property is in very poor condition. Normal saloon cars using such a road will have difficulty using it. None of the bedside lamps worked - no plugs!
