Blueberry Hill Cottages

Beautiful location- well furnished attractive cottage with well supplied kitchen

All doors very difficult yo lock and open -locks needed servicing and oiled -we were warned but getting in after dark proved real challenge -outside light leading yo cars required as several short flights of stairs potentially hazardous in the dark.

Really beautiful accommodation in a great location for getting into Franschhoek. A group of 5 of us for perfectly, the kitchen was kitted out well enough for us to cook some meals, and we enjoyed watching a film on the TV one evening. Stunning pool and seating to watch the sun set. Would recommend.

Communication was great, mostly through WhatsApp. We arrived early, and the host allowed us to check in early. The view is amazing. Two nights is perfect.

Unfortunately, the house (especially during the month we stayed) had a lot of insects. Due to the lack of A/C and sticky air, we needed to open the windows at night. There were a huge number of mosquitoes, and I was bitten many times. The windows were old and lacked insect screens. The fireplace was a quite dirty Weber grill. The house lights were poorly managed and, due to the number of insects, not very helpful at night. The Beds are old and not quite comfy.

Absolutely stunning location with a view to remember. The house had everything you needed and was centrally located to town.

Maybe slightly shabby around the edges, but understood for a cute country cottage

Views to die for and a really beautiful property, great lay out, rooms were great sizes, loads of space.

The lightning: all bulbs are cold white light. A Missed change to make the sphere more warm and cozy.
