Galileo Farm

Great location for a staycation. Our 2 dogs loved the freedom. Pretty views. We stayed 2 nights in autumn - beautiful colours and strolling in the apple orchards was lovely. Beautiful night skies to see the milky way. Very peaceful when though it is a working farm. We felt very safe throughout our stay. Several other activities in the surrounds but we just wanted to relax.

A few serving up / casserole dishes would be great for self-catering.

Coots cottage was a cute stay over for couples just needing a breakaway from the City. The cottage had everything you needed.

We loved being out into the countryside

Our little cottage was perfectly positioned overlooking the little dam with an abundance of birdlife, peace and quiet. Morning coffee on the stoep overlooking this was the perfect way to start the day. A walk around the apple orchard was wonderful. The cottage has everything you will need to get away from the noise, kick back and relax. But not too far from all the wonderful countryside attractions in the area if you fancy a little exploring.

A bedside light to read at night would be the only thing I could suggest. Otherwise nothing not to like.

A beautiful spot overlooking the dam. Private and peaceful. Great little stoep and a warm and inviting interior, clever use of space. Lovely comfortable and practical facilities. Pretty and good quality bedding. Nice touches of providing basics some places dont such as coffee, fruit, etc

Beautiful environment. Clean rooms with all the basic comforts. I stayed in the Lemon room and the energy felt really good sleeping under a lemon tree.

Only issue was the wifi that kept dropping but other than thet I just loved the space and will definitely return.

We had such a special stay in “The Shack” at Galileo Farms. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable and very thoughtfully designed – everything just felt easy and well considered. The deck was a real highlight, with beautiful views of the mountains and surrounding farms, plus a small dam right in front that’s full of birdlife. We were even lucky enough to have a spotted eagle owl visit us on our first day and perch on the roof – such a memorable moment. Overall, it was a peaceful, relaxing, and truly perfect experience. We’d absolutely love to come back.
